This short line appears at the foot of every page. Here is what it means in more detail.

Numerology is a tradition, not a science

Numerology is an old tradition of giving meaning to numbers. It has not been shown to predict or cause anything. A number can't make something happen in your life. We show what numerology traditions usually say, and we show the maths, so you can see exactly how each result was reached.

What our results mean

• Our calculations follow published, documented rules: Chaldean letter values for names, the Vedic Mulank and Bhagyank from a date of birth, and the classical planetary relationships for compatibility. The rules are on How it works.
• Different numerologists use different systems and can reach different answers. Ours is one documented approach among several.
• We only ever call a number favourable, neutral or challenging for you. These words describe how the tradition sees two numbers together. They are information, not a prediction and not a warning.
• A ranking tells you how numbers compare under these rules. It doesn't tell you what will happen if you pick one.

Not professional advice

Nothing on SahiNumber is medical, legal, financial, tax, career or psychological advice. Don't use it in place of a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser or counsellor. Don't make an important decision based on numerology alone.

No outcome is guaranteed

We don't promise that any number, name or choice will bring money, success, health, marriage or anything else. We don't predict events of any kind. Whatever you decide, the decision and its results are yours.

What we don't do

We don't sell gemstones, remedies, yantras, pujas, bracelets or consultations, and we never tell you to change a number you already have.

If you are going through a hard time

If you feel distressed or are thinking about harming yourself, please talk to someone now. In India you can call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (free, any time). Numerology can't help with this, but people can.
